SUPERBOWL PARTY 2006

LET'S PARTY! I'm very sad the weekend has already come and gone. One of our only free weekends without a Baylor basketball game went very fast...luckily next weekend we don't have a game either :) We spent all of Saturday night and Sunday afternoon cleaning our home, cooking ...& getting ready for our guests. We hosted the Superbowl Party for our Sunday School class..and had a pretty good turnout, 17! We had a few good "sports" who followed our invitation to wear their favorite jersey or team colors. Forrest wouldn't let us wear the MSU jerseys...so we went with Baylor. Unfortuantely, I didn't get any pictures of the "master griller" but I'm sure he doesn't mind. It was very fun to see all the guys utilize Forrest's prize project, the deck he built last summer. He brought another TV out there so the guys were outside and the girls were inside. They were into the game a little more than we were. A big thank you to my in-laws, Joel & Sylvia, for their Christmas presents of football serving trays, etc....they definately came in handy and were of great use this weekend.
